Description
One of many narrow, medieval backstreet in Trevi is a small Umbrian hilltown in the heart of Italy. Situated on Monte Serano, its buildings spill down over the sharply sloping terrain. Dating from the 1st century CE, this decidedly medieval town has some of the best views in Umbria extending over 50 km (30 miles) in a mostly westerly direction. When Hadrian restored the Roman road thru the territory - the Via Flaminia, it spurred additional growth in the area.
