In many Asian nations, bamboo is viewed as an example of the harmony between nature and human beings, and throughout history, it has given inspiration to many artists.
The Kanapaha Botanical Garden is a complex and beautiful 68-acre facility located in Gainesville, Florida. Situated in Florida’s lush, semi-tropical habitat, native and exotic plants thrive beneath huge live oaks within more than a dozen themed gardens. Its 24 major collections include the largest bamboo collection in Florida, as well as a Koi pond with giant water lilies, a hummingbird garden, and rock garden.
