Gudhjem is a small fishing town on the northern coast of the Baltic island of Bornholm, Denmark. Its population is 715. Way out in the Baltic Sea, 200km east of Copenhagen, it lies closer to Sweden and Poland than to mainland Denmark. Bornholm is called solskinsøen (Sunshine Island) because of its beautiful weather.
