This solitary Sabal palmetto, also known as cabbage-palm, palmetto, swamp cabbage, and sabal palm is the State tree of Florida stands at the edge of the savanah/floodplain of Lake Jesup near Sanford, Florida, the Sabal Palmetto is the predominate large species, even if you include the grazing cattle.
