Looking down a street in Segovia, Spain, the columns of the portico gallery of 12th century Saint Martin's Church (Iglesia de San Martin) on the right, and in the distance, the domes and spires of the impressive (16th-17th C) Santa Catedral de Nuestra señora de la Asunción y de San Frutos also known as Segovia Cathedral rise over the rooftops.
Segovia is a provincial capital in the autonomous community of Castile and León, Spain. It is the enchanting home of the famous Alcázar palace, the ancient Segovia aqueduct, several Romanesque churches, and the cathedral.
