Description
The Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter in York, commonly known as York Minster, is the cathedral of York, England, and is one of the world's largest and most beautiful Gothic buildings. Built mainly between 1220 and 1480, it is said that more than half of all the stained glass in England is in York Minster. There are 128 stained glass windows containing 2 million individual pieces of Medieval glass in the Minister.
