Description
Jardin Charles Sarazin. This small public garden grew around the ruins of old (16th century) home. The property owner left the grounds to the Society of the Friends of Old Reims, who, in turn gave it to the City of Reims for use as a small public garden provided that it be dedicated to Charles Sarazin, member of the National Academy of Reims and historian of the city. It also has a very pretty Wallace fountain in its center. And if you don’t know what Wallace fountains are – look it up. They have an interesting story.
This park is an ideal place to relax and unwind. A hidden gem that does not have very large areas but lures you to pause and linger.
