Description
King scallops or Coquille Saint Jacques likely came from the Atlantic the Victor Hugo market or Marché Victor Hugo, which is filled with fresh local and regional foods, some found nowhere else. The food is fresh and colorful; the quality is superb, beautifully displayed, and always an adventure for all the senses. Each season brings its own specialties: strawberries, cherries and asparagus in spring and early summer; raspberries and blueberries later in the summer; mushrooms, apples and pears in the autumn; and oranges, nuts, and root vegetables in winter.
