Heather moorland is one of the world’s rarest habitats and over 75% of the world’s entire heather moorland is found in Britain. lkley Moor, part of Rombalds Moor, rises to 402 m (1319 ft) above sea level near the spa town of Ilkley in West Yorkshire, England. The moor’s panoramic views are one of Ilkley's greatest attractions.
